Agenda
Agenda Item 3 - Elect A Chair
Each Student Network is led by a student chair. It was previously led by the most appropriate part-time officer elected in the Spring Elections. As the PGR student network is a new network established after the Spring Elections, it does not have a chair. A chair is fundamental to the running and long-term health of the student network.
Agenda Item 4 - PGR Experience
Discuss experiences of postgraduate research at Brunel, including how effectively the University’s replacement systems and structures have supported PGR students following the closure of the Brunel Graduate School.
Agenda Item 5 - Research Participants Hub
At the PGR Freshers’ Week mixer, students highlighted the value of Students’ Union support with recruiting research participants. Discuss potential options for a Research Participant Hub and agree next steps.
Agenda Item 6 – Future Planning
Identify priorities for future Network meetings, events, workshops, guest speakers and peer-support opportunities.
